A growing and reputable community bank is hiring for a VP Loan Operations Manager to join their team and take a leadership role in their Operations department. As VP Loan Operations Manager the right candidate will be a strategic thinker and lead an operations staff by example. What You Need:
* 5+ years of direct experience in retail loan operations within a banking or credit union setting
* 2+ years leadership or management experience
* Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field
* Strong understanding of retail/consumer loans and underwriting guidelines
* Mortgage loan underwriting and knowledge is a plus
* Experience working across departments with lenders, tellers, customer service
* Experience with retail loan transactions, underwriting and document preparation
* A go-getter, teamwork mentality to be an active participant in the day to day duties of loan operations

Role Responsibilities:
* Manage loan operations team
* Retail processing, underwriting and loan imaging
* Complete files and ensure accuracy
* Responsible for running applicable reports
* Ensure accuracy of all documents and files
* Maintain sufficient internal control and compliance posture
