Job Summary
WLPP Law has an opening for a Colorado licensed attorney with a minimum of five years’ experience. The associate attorney position will involve transactional work and litigation. This is an ideal role for a professional who thrives in a team-oriented law firm environment where there is a focus on elevating, innovating, and adapting to today’s modern world, while remaining rooted in meeting the needs of the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate client documents and contracts
• Interpret policy and governance matters relating to common interest communities
• Manage all aspects of county and district court cases involving primarily covenant enforcement
• Manage direct contact and communication with clients, agents, opposing counsel, and defendants
• Participate in various firm meetings

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in Colorado, in good standing
• 5 years legal experience
• Excellent document drafting, interpretation, and analysis
• Well-developed research and writing skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience or desire for courtroom appearances
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through
• Skilled in building and sustaining positive and productive relationships
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while adapting to legal needs
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Real estate and insurance experience is a plus but is not required
• Knowledge of CCIOA and the FDCPA is a plus but is not required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Practice Master/TABS (or similar practice management/law firm billing system), and basic office technology
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform duties in a typical office environment
