Life doesnt always follow a fixed schedule. Thats why we created the Security Officer Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income gain hands-on experience or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Enhanced Part Time in Manassas VA this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $27.31 / Hour

10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility grounds access points and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points verify credentials and support authorized entry and exit procedures for employees contractors and visitors.
• Support assigned post orders by maintaining a visible presence following weapon handling protocols and reporting maintenance security-related and/or operational concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs pepper spray and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
