Job Description
We are seeking a safety-conscious Receiving Clerk to join our team in Rohnert Park. In this essential role, you will manage daily incoming inventory by processing purchase orders, labeling items, and stocking materials using a computerized system.Success in this position requires good communication skills and basic computer familiarity with Microsoft Office. salary: $22 - $23 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
Receive and process material incoming purchase orders on a daily basis using computerized MRP system,
including accepting deliveries, labeling them and stocking material to proper inventory location
Position works with team to get daily tasks, and project tasks completed in a safe and timely manner
Interacts with supply chain department on regular basis
Maintain inventory locations by cleaning, organizing, and labeling items in storage on a regular basis.
Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by boxing and lifting items as necessary and operating
forklifts and pallet jacks for large items.
Un-Loading of freight shipments with Forklift
Communicates receiving discrepancies to Supervisor or Supply Chain department as necessary
Shares responsibility for training new personnel
Understands and supports initiatives such as LEAN and HPT
Exercise good housekeeping in work area 5S plus Safety
Standard work and ad hoc responsibilities as defined by organizational priorities and standards.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
