  • Benchmark competitor products, materials, and manufacturing processes to inform engineering decisions
  • Apply a structured product development process to ensure consistent, effective program execution
  • Plan, conduct, and supervise technical assignments, monitoring progress and results against project objectives
  • Estimate part and tooling costs and track cost performance throughout execution
  • Coordinate development, testing, drafting, layout, and fabrication activities to meet project milestones
  • Lead and participate in design and technical reviews to ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Analyze field issues and incident reports, lead root cause analysis, and drive teams toward permanent corrective actions
  • Represent the organization in engineering and standards-related meetings and contribute technical documentation as required
  • Perform additional project-related assignments as needed
Key Competencies
  • Influential Leadership: Ability to align and motivate teams toward shared technical and program goals
  • Communication: Clear, confident communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Organization & Execution: Highly organized with strong ownership of cost, schedule, and performance metrics
  • Technical Expertise: Applies deep functional knowledge to solve complex engineering challenges
  • Customer Focus: Integrates customer feedback and data to improve product outcomes
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of engineering experience, preferably in consumer product or vehicle development
  • Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage specifications, costs, timelines, and deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in recreational vehicles, off-road vehicles, automotive, or similar mechanical systems industries
