Job Description

J Rose Logistics is now hiring dependable, professional Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated local route. This position is a W2 role with full benefits , perfect for drivers looking for a steady local routine, predictable weekly pay, and the ability to be home after every single shift .

Compensation & Add-On Pay Structure:

• Weekly Average: $1,300+ gross per week.
• Mileage Rate: $0.43 to $0.51 CPM (based on experience) plus premium add-on pay.
• Short-Haul Premium: $30.00 extra for any loads under 90 miles.
• Stop-In Pay: $15.00 for every stop along your route.

Schedule & Shift Structure:

• Home Time: Local operation, ensuring you are home daily .
• Work Week: Looking for dedicated drivers to cover steady Thursday through Monday or Friday through Tuesday schedules. (Weekends are not guaranteed off).
• Shift Window: Dedicated NIGHT driving . Drivers will complete approximately 2 runs per shift.
• Equipment: Slip-seat operation (trucks are shared among the local fleet; no permanently assigned tractors).

Qualifications & Hiring Requirements:

• Geographic Constraint: Drivers must live within 25 miles of zip code 33982 (Punta Gorda, FL area). Applications outside of this 25-mile radius cannot be accepted for this local fleet.
• Experienced Drivers: Must have at least 6 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience within the last 12 months to onboard immediately without additional training.
• New CDL Drivers Welcome: We will accept recent CDL school graduates as trainees for this route! Complete company training is required upon hire.
• Background & Safety: Accidents, moving violations, and criminal history are evaluated fairly on a case-by-case basis.
